Luther Presenters at AASHE Conference

Recipient of a 2012 Second Nature Climate Leadership Award. One of eight colleges across the country to receive an "A" on the 2011 College Sustainability Report Card.

On Oct. 6-9, 2013, three Luther students and four faculty/staff attended the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. The Annual AASHE Conference is the largest campus sustainability conference in North America. Attendees from around the world share innovations, activities, frameworks, learning outcomes, tools, strategies, research, theory and leadership initiatives that are changing the face of sustainability in higher education.

Among the Luther student presenters were Ellen Badger '16, Jesus Lucero '15, and Jamie Stallman '14.  Luther faculty presenters included Jon Jenson, Craig Mosher, and Ruth Kath.  The Assistant Director for the Center of Sustainable Communities, Stratis Giannakouros, was also in attendance.
