Sustainability House Application

Recipient of a 2012 Second Nature Climate Leadership Award. One of eight colleges across the country to receive an "A" on the 2011 College Sustainability Report Card.

The application deadline to live in the Sustainability House next year is approaching!  If interested, fill out the Sustainability House Application and submit it online by next Wednesday, February 20th.  

What is the Sustainability House?  The Sustainability House, also known as LEFSE (Luther’s Environmentally, Fiscally, and Socially responsible Edifice), offers a living-learning environment where students reside together that share a dedication to an environmentally, socially, and fiscally sustainable lifestyle.  Need more information?  Go to the Sustainability House Website or read the Sustainability House Blog

Application Timeline:

  • February 1: General information and applications available on the Residence Life web page
  • February 20: Applications submitted online by 4:00 pm
  • February 25-26: Individual interviews (students will be notified of their interview time)
  • February 28: Ten residents selected, names posted in the Residence Life office at noon; students selected will be notified of the room selection time
