Winter Bike Storage-Free

Winter Bike Storage is happening Thursday and Friday, Nov. 15 and 16 from 3-6 p.m. Please bring your bike to the rear (east) entrance of the Ashmore-Jewell Barn to have it placed in secure, dry storage by college personnel. For more information please click here. All bikes going into the barn must be registered. This may be done beforehand online by clicking here or at the barn during bike storage.

October is Local Foods Month at Luther! Look for events such as 'The Taste Of Decorah', cooking classes, Seed Savers, Organic Farms Trips, and more! 'The Taste of Decorah' is our first event to be held on Monday October 8th at 8pm. There will be salsa tasting made from local ingredients for free at all the residence halls! Come sample some salsa and learn about local foods from your resident Sustainability Representative!

Are you interested in helping businesses to become more sustainable?  Are you searching for a meaningful off-campus internship experience with the opportunity to make a difference?  If so, look no further. The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce Green Business Council seeks a student intern to assist in the research, education, development and coordination of green business initiatives.  Student will receive a stipend and will be expected to work between 5-10 hours a week on a variety of tasks.
