Student Farm Assessments

 The student farm assessment program works to connect Luther students with the farmers producing their food.  Students meet producers and ask questions about production methods and farming techniques.   All farms profiles found below were created by students based on farm assessment visits.

  • Grass Run Farms

    Offer grass-fed, antibiotic and hormone-free beef and "fresh air" pork.

  • Independent

    Farms that are not part of GROWN Locally or Grass Run Farms

  • Grown Locally

    Cooperative of small, local farms in Northeast Iowa dedicated to providing fresh, high quality foods to local food service institutions.
