Don't have a personal bike--fear not. Eight bikes are now available to be checked out by the day from Preus Library free of charge.

Luther offers free winter storage for bicycles. Bikes are placed in secure, dry storage in the Ashmore-Jewell Barn. The barn will be open for two days in November to accept bikes. Students can retrieve bikes on two scheduled days in Spring.

Register your bike for FREE. This one-time registration will put your bike's information into a national database accessible by police departments throughout the country. If you bike is stolen in Decorah, or elsewhere, registering your bike will identify you as the owner if it is recovered.

Flip's Bike Shop, run by Luther students and members of SPOKES, the biking organization, is located in the bottom floor of Regents. Only charging for parts, the shop’s tools and services are free. The shop is run with the intention of helping bikers become more knowledgeable about how their bikes work.
