The Land Stewardship Plan (approved October, 2010) guides decisions affecting the 1000 acres of the Luther College campus where biological education and biodiversity are the primary goals. Any individual or group planning activities that could affect biodiversity on these lands should consult the plan and the Luther College Land Use Committee.

The plan includes a general discussion of the purpose, goals, and context, followed by specific descriptions and goals for different areas. Two appendices provide more detailed information on the ecological communities represented on Luther College's campus and invasive plant species.
