Historical Local Foods Purchases

Luther's local food purchasing started with apples, honey and one 4H beef cow years ago and has grown to include projects such as yogurt, milk, turkey, ice cream and a wide array of fruits and vegetables.

Luther has made great strides in local food purchasing in recent years, starting with less than 12% local food purchases in the '06-'07 academic school year to our current 23% local foods purchasing this academic year. By May 2013, we hope to achieve 35% local food.
