In an effort to embrace the vibrant community of small, local producers in the Decorah area, Luther is committed to serving a variety of local food on campus. This trip provides participants the opportunity to meet the faces and places behind the food they will consume during their next four years on campus. The group will spend time on the farms that supply Luther with everything from breakfast bacon to salad-bar broccoli. This trip is an exciting way to become more acquainted with not only the food served at Luther but also with the Decorah area.
