The following students are working as sustainability educators during the 2013-14 Academic Year. Please feel free to contact them with any sustainability-related questions or ideas.
Jesus H. Lucero is a sophomore double majoring in Psychology and Music Performance. He is from Edgewater, Colorado, a small suburb of Denver. When he isn’t hitting the books or locked up in a practice room, Jesus enjoys great talks, hiking, running and simply being outdoors. His favorite sights are the mountains of Rocky Mountains of Colorado but the bluffs of Decorah make him feel more at home. In the future Jesus wants to own his own practice and moonlight as an opera singer and hopefully travel the world. Where the wind leads he shall follow.
Kelsey Agather is a sophomore at Luther and plans on majoring in Biology and Spanish. She is from St. Louis Park, Minnesota and enjoys fishing, swimming, biking, playing basketball, and building model float planes with her dad. She also enjoys reading and listening to music- her favorite kind is alternative rock. Here at Luther Kelsey has joined the Women's Rugby Club Team. She is excited to be a sustainability educator; for her sustainability is not just a job, it is a way of life.
*The Center for Sustainable Communities is currently hiring two students to serve as reps in Larsen/Olson and PFAB (Prairie Houses, Farwell, Apartments, Baker). Contact Maren Stumme-Diers (email@example.com) if interested.
