The US Military Goes Green (1/13)

Unbeknownst to us, the US military is going green and we found out from Soren Hermansen on Samso Island.  He recently was in Texas and listened to a presentation from Admiral John Nathman who says that the military is trying to make an alternate energy supply.  The Bases want to be energy independent from the rest of the country and the military is prepared to spend brain capacity and resources to make this happen.

“Climate Change, Energy Independence and National Security are a related set of global challenges that need to be confronted.” –Admiral Nathman

Currently 50% of fuel from F16 jets is coming from biofuels.

The Admiral ended his presentation by saying:

“This is America. We’re pretty good at getting stuff done. We need to get this one done.”
