Rachel Selvig '14

Anthropology and History
Project Manager Student Coordinator

Hometown: St. Michael, Minnesota

Favorite place on campus: Behind the CFA.  I love looking out at all those pine trees!

Favorite sustainability quote: "Even a small action done by many can become a big action.”

Rachel learned to appreciate nature by going on family vacations growing up, exploring mountains, canyons, rivers, and oceans.  “If I could live in the mountains, I would!”  She loves reading outside on a warm day, particularly on the hill behind the CFA.  Rachel also sings in the Nordic choir and enjoys learning about ancient civilizations.  One of her dreams is to go to Egypt and visit ancient Egyptian archaeological sites.  She plans on pursuing a career in foreign relations, helping to represent others who may not have a voice.  She hopes to spend significant time traveling, particularly in India.
