Provides leadership and direction for the Student Life Division, which includes the following offices: Campus Recreational Sports and Intramural Programs, Career Center, Counseling, Diversity Center, The Nena Amundson Lifetime Wellness Program, Residence Life, Safety and Security, Student Activities and College Union, Student Health Service, Student Life Office, and Upward Bound.

Serves as the staff member responsible for new student orientation, student senate, and student leadership programs; also provides ongoing support and assistance to students and serves as the director of international admissions. 

Manages the day-to-day operations of the Student Life Office; provides assistance and support to students and staff; oversees the Luther Shuttle program.

Serves as the primary case manager for students who need additional assistance in being successful at Luther; helps to assess student needs, arrange for and structure appropriate support, and monitor student progress; also serves as a registered nurse in the Health Service.
