The SAC Officers have each served at least one year as a committee co-chair. Officers keep things running smoothly with the executive board. Some of their duties include meeting planning, budgeting, one-on-one meetings with committees, and record keeping.

SAC Christmas Cheer

Help make the holiday season a little brighter for area families in need. Committee activities include collecting gifts and household supplies for less fortunate people in Decorah and the surrounding communities. SAC Cinema

SAC Cinema began a working relationship with Decorah's Viking Theatre during the 2008-09 academic year. SAC Cinema sponsors one student movie night per month (7 per academic year) at the theater. Students who participate in the CAF are able to attend one newly released film for free. SAC Cinema has also sponsored an outdoor movie on the Library Lawn during orientation week in the Fall.  If you would like to help, contact Melissa or Alyse.

SAC Concerts

The concerts committee books major concerts for the Luther campus. All types of music--rock, blues, folk, jazz, and progressive--have been represented by our past artists. In the future we would like to see other groups brought to campus as well, but we need your help. To help select the bands that you would like to see and/or to be a part of the committee, contact Laura, Nicole or Beckie.

SAC Flamingo Ball

Flamingo Ball is the annual homecoming dance at Luther College. It is a traditional SAC event with classy flair, delicious food, great friends, and dancing under soft lights to the wonderful music of a live orchestra. It's a night you will never forget.
