Fitness Classes
Kickboxing - begins Sept. 3rd
Monday through Thursday afternoons at 4:30 in the Regent's Center dance studio..
Yoga - begins Sept. 3rd
Monday and Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in the Regents dance studio.
Tai Chi - begins Sept. 4th
Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in the Regents dance studio.
Self Defense/Hapkido Classes - begins Sept. 9th
Learn another martial arts designed especially for women and smaller men. Try it out! Dance studio of the Regent's Center.
Water Workout Classes - begin on Sept. 8th
All water workout classes are held in the Regents Center pool Monday - Friday mornings at 6:00 a.m. These classes are taught by Luther College students. Community users are invited, as well as Luther students, faculty and staff. For community users, the cost is $10 a month, payable on the first class of the month. Community users must also have a community pass for use of the Regents Center.
Relaxation and Massage Classes
Taught by Vicky Jaeger, recreational sports coordinator, these classes run from 30 minutes to 90 minutes in length. Students interested in learning to give a basic massage or relaxation class should contact their R.A. or coaches. Basic massage classes can focus on massage of the foot, arm and hand, back, and face and head.
Tae Kwon Do
Tae kwon do classes are held twice each week in the Regents Center. For more information, please contact Anna Linnell at linnellal@peoplepc.com. These classes incur a fee.
