Worship at Luther
Worship is at the core of Luther’s life as a community of faith and learning. We gather daily to hear God’s Word, share in the Sacraments, and be reminded of who and whose we are. Whatever your faith background, you are invited to be part of our worship life, both as a participant and as a leader.
Based in the Center for Faith and Life, we affirm with the apostle Paul that in Christ "there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female" (Galatians 3:28). Christ has made us one. We acknowledge that this reconciliation extends to people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
The Luther College Congregation is a member of the Reconciling in Christ (RIC) Program. For more information, take a look at the Lutherans Concerned/North America website.
"All this is from God who reconciled us through Jesus Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation."

Sunday Morning "Church"
10:00 a.m. Sunday
Center for Faith and Life Main Hall
Every Sunday morning we gather to celebrate a powerful vision of the church—people from all backgrounds and walks of life united as one body of Christ. As students and pastors lead and participate in worship, we all bring our gifts and talents to praise God in a rich variety of ways, hear God's Word, and respond to Christ’s invitation to meet him at the table of Holy Communion. All are welcome at God's table. Listen live on Sundays (during the academic year) starting at 10:00 a.m., via KWLC 1240 AM.
Daily Chapel
10:30 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Center for Faith and Life Main Hall
Built into the class schedule and rhythm of life at Luther College, chapel is a time for the community to gather. Faculty, staff, students, and guests serve as chapel speakers, musicians, and artists. On Tuesdays, students organize and lead the service, sharing a wide variety of faith expressions. Daily chapel can also be heard beginning at 10:30 a.m. daily on AM 1240 KDEC radio.
Sunday Night FOCUS
Student-Led Worship
9:30 p.m. Sunday
Center for Faith and Life Main Hall
Every Sunday night we gather for FOCUS, our Sunday night student-led worship. Come share in music, drama, prayer, and hear a variety of speakers who share God’s Good News. You can contact the Focus Vision Team at focus@luther.edu.
Eucharist
9:30 p.m. Wednesday
Center for Faith and Life Recital Hall
In the middle of the week's activities, Wednesday Night Eucharist provides an opportunity to center ourselves on God's grace as we share in a contemplative communion service that reminds us to "be still and know that I am God" (Psalm 46). Refreshments and a time for relaxed conversation follow ther service.
