History
Grace Institute for Spiritual Formation was founded in 1999. It is recognized by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America as a Life Long Learning Partner.
Grace Institute for Spiritual Formation is a ministry of the Office of College Ministries of Luther College.
The Spiritual Formation Program of Grace Institute with its first class in August, 2001. The second class began in August, 2003, the third class in August, 2005, and the forth in August, 2007. Each of the classes has had about fifty participants. More than 90% of those who have begun this program have completed it.
While most participants have come from Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, we also have had people from New York, North Carolina, Indiana, Nebraska, Massachusetts, Montana, South Dakota, Michigan, Ohio, and Texas. Several of those from a long distance have flown to Chicago O'Hare and then ridden with Dick Bruesehoff, one of our staff.
