Professional Staff Position Descriptions
The efforts of Residence Life Office are an integral part of the student life program at Luther College, a program which was ranked No. 1 in the country among religious-affiliated liberal arts colleges by the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) in 1999. The professional staff in the Residence Life Office continues to strive for excellence in their mission to the students residing on campus at Luther College.
Along with the director of residence life and housing assignments coordinator, there are five professional staff serving the Residence Life Office as either area coordinators (AC) or hall directors (HD). Both the AC and HD positions are live-in positions with supervisory, housing, conduct, collateral, and many other duties.
