Key Core Replacement Procedure
Losing your keys is more than a nuisance—it can be extremely dangerous. For many reasons—from the outside threat of theft to the outside threat of violence—the Residence Life Office urges anybody who has lost their room keys to contact the office, their R.A., or their hall director/area coordinator immediately.
Yes, it will cost a bit of money to replace your keys ($25 per key), but your own safety and your roommate's safety should come first.
Follow these four steps to get your keys replaced:
- Obtain a key-core replacement form from the Residence Life Office.
- Take the form to Office for Financial Services, pay charged amount, and receive endorsement.
- Turn the form into Facilities Mangement and provides the necessary information.
- Facilities Management will change the lock and deliver replacement keys to Residence Life Office.
