Residence Life
At Luther, living on campus means connecting your academic opportunities with your social experiences, living and learning, in an inviting campus environment.
While living in the Luther residence halls, you will meet new people, make a “home away from home,” and get involved on campus. You will also have the opportunity to learn from those around you who have differing views and life experiences, which allows for a rich and rewarding learning environment complementing the classroom.
The Luther College residential campus offers a variety of housing options. With seven residence halls, several college apartments, three campus houses, and one village of townhouses, Luther’s residence life program is one of the largest in Iowa.
The residence halls are staffed by students and professionals who are here to help you make the most of your residential experience. Resident assistants are upperclass students who have been carefully selected and trained to assist floor members and promote strong and healthy living communities. The area coordinators and hall directors are professional staff members who reside in the residence halls and manage daily operations.
