Center Stage Dinner Series
Time and Location
All meals begin at 5:30 p.m. and are held in Peace Dining Room on the second floor of Dahl Centennial Union. Special dietary needs due to allergies may be accommodated; please inform the box office at time of ticket purchase.
Tickets
Dinner tickets are $15 per person. Wine will be available for purchase at $5.00 per glass.
Guests who want to sit together should designate this on the order form. Children under four years of age are not admitted. Luther students may use Nordic Cash.
Tickets available only through the Luther College Box Office. Box office hours are 9:00–10:30 a.m. and 11:00–3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Phone 563-387-1357. Hours for weekday performances are 9:00–10:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. until show time. Hours for Saturday or Sunday performances are 1:00 p.m. until show time. All events are subject to change. Please contact the box office for up to date information about any event.
To order tickets by mail, make checks payable to Luther College; enclose a stamped, self-addressed, business-size envelope. Phone orders using MasterCard, VISA, Discover, or American Express are welcome; a charge will be added to all phone orders in which tickets are mailed to you.
Sorry, no refunds; all sales are final.
Parking may be found in the Nustad lot behind Preus Library and the Farwell Hall lot (use the express elevator to access the upper campus). Handicap parking is available near the Center for Faith and Life.

”From the Stocks”—smashed tomato salad. Roast quail with wild onion flan and baked quartered root vegetables (baby turnips/carrots). Rustic bread. English trifle.
Tuesday, October 6 • Academy of St. Martin in the Fields Chamber Ensemble
Enjoy a glorious meal featuring fervent foods and a stunning dessert!
Traditional caesar salad. Seared tuna topped with delicate field greens drizzled with lemon. Served over a tomato reduction accompanied by Israeli couscous and candied butternut squash. Mini butterflake crescents. Refreshing key lime mousse with whipped cream rosettes and toasted coconut.

Join us for “the show before the show” featuring a menu that captures timeless classics.
Apple-butternut squash soup. Beef tenders with bordelaise and bearnaise sauces accompanied by flavorful wild rice with dried cranberries and garlic green beans. Herbed focaccia bread with dipping oil. Tiramisu with fresh whipped cream and chocolate-covered coffee beans.

Experience a bold and sassy meal.
Fire roasted pepper salad. Poached local capon with roasted apples accompanied by spiced sweet potato wedges and red cabbage slaw. Pumpkin bread with honey butter. Apple sorbet.

Take time for our “three themed” menu!
Potato soup. Beef trio medley—delicate tenders topped with three sauces, including horseradish, bleu cheese, and red wine. Accompanied by mashed rutabagas and roasted scallion red bliss potatoes. Butterflake rolls/butter. Petit threes dessert.

Enjoy our one-of-a kind Afro-Cuban dishes. Be sure to save room for our dreamy dessert!
Bay scallop ceviche with grilled polenta. Pork tenderloin with coney sauce (chorizo barbecue sauce) accompanied by Cuban black beans and rice and esparregado (pureed greens served baked in tomato). Classic Cuban bread. Strawberries macerated in port, garnished with fresh mint.

Mustard soup garnished with fresh chive oil and greens. Pork with apples and ale accompanied by colcannon (mashed potatoes with cabbage and scallions) and Pease pudding. Irish soda bread. Summer pudding—assorted berries and fresh whipped cream.
