Awards and Affiliations

Luther College Dining Services is an award-winning team dedicated to serving the students, faculty, staff, and visitors to the college. We are an active member of NACUFS (The National Association of College & University Food Services) and continue to train and educate our staff on issues from food safety to menu development and more.

Awards include:

• Top 100 (hospitals, universities, businesses) as rated by Foodservice Director Magazine in 2004
• “Best On-Campus College Coffeehouse in Iowa”awarded to Marty’s by AAA Home & Away Magazine in 2004
• 2nd place NACUFS Loyal E. Horton Award, “Best Restaurant or Shop,” (medium schools) awarded to Marty’s in 1998
• Mentioned in numerous articles in trade publications such as Food Management, Campus Dining Today, Food Service Director and Restaurants & Institutions.
