Re: Invitation to open forums
Date: Nov. 22, 2016

Dear Colleagues,

The information gathering phase of the strategic planning process will continue Dec. 5-7, when our consultants, Keeling & Associates, return to campus to facilitate a series of small- and large-group discussions in collaboration with the Strategic Planning Committee. The full schedule of meetings is being finalized, and it will be published to the Strategic Planning website with notification to the campus community within the next week. The purpose of these discussions is to invite conversation, to listen to your ideas and to begin to discuss potential areas of priority for the new strategic plan. The ideas, suggestions and comments that emerge from these discussions will be incorporated into a document that will be posted for review by the campus community in January.

During this site visit, the Strategic Planning Committee invites and encourages all faculty, staff and students to participate in the open forums scheduled Dec. 5-6, in Peace Dining Room in the Union:

Faculty forums

(1) Tuesday, Dec. 6, 11 a.m.-noon

(2) Tuesday, Dec. 64:15-5:15 p.m.

Staff forums
(1) Monday, Dec. 512:15-1:15 p.m.
(2) Monday, Dec. 54-5 p.m.

Student forums
(1) Tuesday, Dec. 69:40-10:40 a.m.
(2) Tuesday, Dec. 66:30-7:30 p.m.

In addition to these forums, all faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in an Idea Wall from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, on the first floor of Dahl Centennial Union. The Idea Wall is a public activity through which passersby can write comments and suggestions for the new strategic plan.

Thank you in advance for your participation as we work together to identify the next set of goals and aspirations for the future of Luther College.
