Volleyball

“Inviting” was the first word that Lindsey used to describe the volleyball team. Ryan, an academic all state honoree from Eastview High School, elaborates on coming to Decorah from the Twin Cities suburbs.

“I always loved the small town feel whenever my family and I would drive through small towns on road trips. When I came to Luther I got that same vibe and I loved it!”

She adds, “I think the distance is perfect. My parents are able to come here every once in a while, but not every weekend. Once the volleyball season is done I am able to make it home more often. However, there is a lot to do on the weekends and I like staying here.”

In addition to volleyball she has joined the health science club here on campus; a fitting move for the biology major who hopes to pursue a career in preventative medicine.
