Luther's season came to an end tonight in Waverly as #11 Wartburg defeated the Norse 3-1 in a semifinal match of the Iowa Conference Tournament. Set scores were 23-25, 19-25, 25-22 and 16-25.
Sophia Brown and Hannah Wilson led the Norse attack posting 14 and 10 kills respectively. The duo also led the team with four total blocks each. Lindsey Ryan dished out 36 assists and Alexis Dorschner was credited with 21 digs.
The Knghits were led by the trio of Bailey Wilson, Maddie Forsyth and Britlyn Sieck. Wilson posted a match high 15 kills. Forsyth was credited with 13 and Sieck had 10.
Luther completes its season with an overall record of 15-17. Wartburg advances to the IIAC championship match on Saturday night with a mark of 31-5.
