The six-team Iowa Conference Tournament will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 31 with four teams playing in the quarterfinals. The top-two seeds of the tournament, No. 1 Wartburg and No. 2 Luther, received first round byes.
The semifinals and championship matches will be played at the U.S. Cellular Center, Cedar Rapids, Iowa Nov. 3-4. The winner of the tournament will earn the league's automatic berth to the 2017 NCAA III National Tournament.
Cost at the U.S. Cellular Center: $6 for Adults, $3 for students and senior citizens. All current Iowa Conference students, faculty and staff shall be admitted free with a valid ID.
Luther earned the No. 2 seed for the second year in a row after posting a league record of 6-2. The Norse are 16-9 overall. The Norse will face No. 3 seed Buena Vista University in a semifinal match at 4:00 p.m., on Nov. 3. Buena Vista advanced to the semifinal round with a 3-0 decision over No. 6 Nebraska Wesleyan University on Tuesday night.
In the other semifinal match, No. 1 Wartburg will play No. 4 University of Dubuque at 7:00 p.m. Dubuque advanced to the semifinals defeating No. 5 Coe College 3-0.
The two winners will play in the championship match at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
