The Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has announced that Addy Rickels and Tricia Serres have been named the Performers of the Week for the week ending Sunday, April 21, 2013.

Rickels, a senior, won the heptathlon at the Augustana (Ill.) Invitational with 4,231 points. Her point total is the highest in the IIAC this season and ranks 16th in Division III.

Serres, a freshman, won the 1,500-meter run and ran the third leg on Luther's winning 4x400 relay. Her time of 4:32.86 in the 1,500 bettered the school record she set two weeks ago by six seconds and is the second-fastest time in Division III. Serres' time is the best in the IIAC by 14 seconds.
