University of Dubuque won its own invitational this afternoon posting a team total of 138 points. Loras College was second with 118 and UW-Platteville was third with 108. Luther finishes seventh with 46.

Individual top performances today for the Norse were produced by McKenzie Carney in the Mile (5:21.65) and Meredith Robinson in the 3000 (11:33.07). Both placed third in their respective events. 

Carney led a group of three Norse that finished in the top eight and posted 13 team points. Hannah Wright was fifth (5:26.59) and Anna Ryden was sixth (5:28.67).

Emmy Buntrock placed sixth in the 3000 (11:47.95), while Marta Springer (2:24.93) and Mallory Carr (2:26.33) finished sixth and seventh in the 800.

Points were also posted by Molly Wettach who placed eighth in the high jump (4-9), Elise Heiser who placed sixth in the long jump (16-1 1/2) and Morgan Sammons who placed fourth in the 400 (1:05.15).

In relay competition, the 4 x 200 of Katie Perez, Shannon Baker, Kacy Rodamaker and Randi-Kate Canoy finished second (1:53.66). The 4 x 400 of Springer, Baker, Perez and Stephanie Murray placed third (4:15.28).

Dubuque will host the two-day Iowa Conference Indoor Championships Feb. 24-25. Competition is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday and 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
