Tennis

Location was the first thing about Luther College that jumped out to Katy. “I loved the town of Decorah and the small, close-knit community. I immediately felt a sense of belonging on my visit; everyone was so friendly.”

She continues, “Second, Luther’s strong academic reputation and highly successful tennis program was very compelling. Finally, the professors and coaches expressed genuine interest in my success. That was so important to me.”

The experience on the tennis team has been everything she was hoping it would be, “During my time here we have finished first in the Iowa Conference and gone to the national tournament in two years, defeating our tough rival in close matches along the way.”
