Tennis

Don’t call tennis an individual sport around Elise. “It is very much a team sport,” she says. “Everyone on the team is always working together to make the team an unstoppable force, which is an amazing feeling.”

During her time on campus the team has been nothing short of an unstoppable force, as they have won two conference championships. She has also accumulated a number of individual honors including all-conference singles and doubles in multiple seasons (in a non-surprising move, she mentioned nothing of the individual honors during this interview).

Instead, Elise brings attention to a hobby outside of sports and school altogether. “I am involved in the PALS (mentoring) organization.” She elaborates, “The organization includes playing with, and setting a good example for, young kids around the Luther community.”

After graduation Elise hopes to contribute to another successful team; an accounting firm.
