The Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) announced that Katie Storey was named the Female Swimmer of the Week for the week ending Jan. 5, 2013.

Storey, a sophomore from Cedar Rapids Prairie High School, helped Luther to its first win against a conference opponent this season - a 149-68 win over Loras on Jan. 5. She won the 200 breaststroke (2:36.59) and swam on Luther's winning 400 medley relay (4:10.63) as the Norse improved to 4-0 in dual meets this season.
