The Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) announced that Lisbet Finseth has been named the IIAC Swimmer of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012.

Finseth, a senior, placed in the top-8 in three events at the St. Thomas Invitational. She won the 400 IM (4:50.44), took second in the 500 freestyle (5:26.08), sixth in the 200 IM (2:21.27) and placed eighth in the 200 backstroke (2:20.06) for the Norse. As a team, Luther finished third in the eight-team field.
