The Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) has announced that Elizabeth Reed has been named IIAC Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012.

Reed, a sophomore, won a pair of races while helping lead the Norse to a 173-127 win over Grinnell College, Luther's third dual victory of the year. She won the 500 freestyle in 5:27.54 and the 1000 freestyle in 11:10.36.
