  • Has coached six student-athletes who have earned 11 All-America honors and and 14 student-athletes who earned 22 honorable mention All-America honors
  • Named Liberal Arts Championships and Iowa Conference Coach of the Year for both men and women in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011 and 2012
  • In 2012, the Norse claimed a sixth consecutive Liberal Arts Championships title and eighth in school history, the first coming in 1999.
  • In 2008 the women finished 11th at the NCAA III National Championships and the men finished 30th.
  • Joined Luther after two years as head coach at Cumberland College, where he coached 46 NAIA All-Americans.
  • Earned 12 NCAA Division II All-American honors while competing for the University of South Dakota.

  • Earned her degree in Sports Communications and Marketing
  • Second year as an assistant coach
  • Joined Norse staff after serving two years as an assistant coach at Nicolet High School, Milwaukee, Wis.
  • Four-year varsity letter winner at UCONN
  • Four-year finalist at the Big East Conference Swimming Championships
  • Holds top-10 times in the 100 and 200 backstroke

  • 1961 graduate of Valparaiso University
  • 1964 JD Degree, School of Law, Valparaiso University
  • 15th year at Luther College.
  • Named Iowa Conference Diving Coach of the Year in 2007
  • Named Liberal Arts Championship Diving Coach of the Year in 2007, 2008 and 2011
  • Has coached 18 Iowa Conference champions, five Liberal Arts champions and five divers who have posted NCAA III national qualifying standards in both 1-meter and 3-meter events
  • Since 1958 he has been the Head Diving Coach at Vinton Aquatic Club. During his tenure, he has coached three divers who qualified and participated in USA Diving National Jr. Championships. Has also coached eight divers who qualified and participated in USA Diving National West Jr. Spring Championships, as well as numerous divers who have placed and won regional championships
  • While coaching at Porter County YMCA, Valparaiso, Ind., he coached one national champion in Y National Meet held in Iowa City
  • From 1981-87 served as diving coach at Washington High School, Vinton, Iowa
