Luther Women Recognized as NSCAA 2012 Fall All-Academic Team

The Luther College women’s swimming and diving team has earned 2012 Scholar All-America honors for the fall semester from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

The Team Scholar All-America award includes a team’s complete roster and is presented to college and university teams who have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The award is presented twice a year, the first following the fall semester and the second following the spring semester.

The Luther women had a cumulative grade point average of 3.58 that ranked tied for second in the nation on the list of 116 Division III school’s that were recognized for this award. Pomona-Pitzer was first with a grad point average of 3.59. This marks the eleventh year in a row the Norse have been so honored.
