Softball

There were a couple of big things Alise wanted to accomplish when she came to Luther. One was to play for a nationally ranked softball program, and another was to be a part of the renowned biology program.

Softball-wise she has had the opportunity to be apart of two conference championship, two regional championship and two trips to the NCAA III National Tournament (2011, and 2012). Last year she earned her first letter batting .357 that included her first collegiate home run. She describes the squad as a tightly knit group who “will continue to be friends long after we are done playing on the field together.” She continues, “They are a great support system for me.”

As far as academics are concerned, the infielder continues making progress towards her biology degree. She plans to use the degree to pursue a career in physical therapy.
