Kelsey’s efforts on the field have also helped with their success. In 2011 she was a third team NFCA All-American and twice she has been recognized all-Iowa Conference and all-Midwest Region. In 2011 she was named Luther's Offensive Player of the Year after batting .413 and driving in a team best 42 runs.

Kelsey hopes to pursue a career as a nurse after graduation from Luther in the spring of 2013.
