Luther advanced to the semifinals of the Iowa Conference Tournament with a 9-0 victory over Buena Vista University in five innings.

Alise Miller led the Norse attack going 2-for-3 and driving in three runs. Miller hit a three-run home run during Luther's five-run first inning. Shari Huber, Elisa Smith, Kelsey Weindruch and Katie Wieland all tallied two hits and drove in a run. Carli Radil was also credited with two RBI.

Becca Girvan (16-5) struck out nine of the 17 batters she faced. Girvan allowed one hit and walked one.

The victory gives the Norse an overall record of 26-9. Buena Vista ends its season with a mark of 14-21.

Luther advanced to the semifinals of this single elimination tournament and will face No. 2 seed Central College at 1:00 p.m., tomorrow. The other semifinal game will be between University of Dubuque and No. 1 seed Coe College at 11:00 a.m. Both games will be video streamed.
