Luther improved to 11-3 after sweeping Union College (NY) 8-0 in five innings and 5-2 in the nightcap.

In game one, Becca Girvan (6-1) tossed a two-hit shutout striking out eight. Five different Norse drove in runs led by Alise Miller and Carli Radil who were credited with two RBI each. Shari Huber, Elisa Smith and Radil were all 2-for-4 and scored a combined five runs while batting in the top three slots in the order.

In game two, Erica Manske (3-0) remained perfect in the circle. Manske threw six full innings, allowing two unearned runs on two hits, walked four and struck out four.

Smith gave the Norse an early lead thanks to a solo home run to right field in the bottom of the first. Huber drove in two runs in the second, while Katie Wieland and Kelsey Rose drove in a run each in the fifth and sixth frames respectively.
