Five members of the Luther College softball team have been named to the 2013 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) all-Midwest Region teams.
Each of the eight regions selects a first, second and third team, with all first-team honorees becoming eligible for All-America honors.
The Norse had one first team, one second team and three third team honorees. Senior outfielder Shari Huber was a first team selection, while junior pitcher Becca Girvan was a second team honoree. Senior second baseman Elisa Smith and senior outfielder Kelsey Weindruch, as well as freshman first baseman Carli Radil, were all named to the third team.
