The Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) has announced that freshman firstbaseman, Carli Radil was named the league's Position Player of the Week.

Radil hit .375 with a 1.12 slugging percentage for the Norse while helping her team capture the 2013 Iowa Conference Tournament championship. She batted 3-for-8 that included two home runs in a 9-3 Norse win over Central in the semifinal game. She hit a solo shot to center field in the second and followed that with a two-run blast to the same portion of the field in the third. She also had a hit, drove in two and scored a run in Luther's 9-0 first-round win over Buena Vista.
