Luther is the perfect distance from home for Shelby.  She states the school is “far enough away from home but also close enough to visit whenever I need to.”

She adds, “The girls on the team have become some of my best friends that will stay with me far after graduation. We have so much fun together but when it comes to games and practices we get focused and down to business.”

Academically, Shelby also knows how to get down to business. She is a double major in psychology and sociology, and plans to attend grad school after graduation.
