The transition from life at home to life at college was easy for Catherine. “The team became my second family right away. I feel that I have made some of my closest friends with the girls on the team and it was nice that our class clicked right away as freshmen. That was a very helpful step in transitioning to the college life.”

The French/biology double major is a big fan of volunteering. She has spent time working with several homeless shelters, Luther PALS (a mentoring program), and Luther SHOC (Students Helping Our Community).  

Catherine ranks her dad’s goulash as her favorite food, Abby Wambach as her favorite athlete, and as to her favorite movie: “Lord of the Rings. Definitely.”
