Women's Soccer - First Round of IIAC Tournament vs. Dubuque

Luther's season came to an end this afternoon following a 4-2 loss to University of Dubuque in Dubuque this afternoon.

Following a 1-1 tie at halftime, Dubuque scored in the 56th, 57th and 70th minutes en route to the victory. 

Elly Arend scored both of Luther's goals. Arend scored at 43:20 assisted by Cecilia Douma (2) and unassisted at 68:50. Her goals were her third and fourth of the season.

The Spartans out shot the Norse 19-10 and put 10 shots inside the frame. The Spartans also held a 5-1 advantage in corner kicks.

The loss gives Luther an overall record of 7-10-1. Dubuque advances to the semifinals of the IIAC Tournament. The Spartans are now 10-6-2.
