Luther picked up its first win of the season, an exciting 2-1 overtime victory over UW-Stout this afternoon in St. Joseph, Minn.
Kate Manning scored the game winner five minutes into overtime assisted by Lydia Eager.
Erika Balk gave the Norse an early 1-0 lead with her first collegiate goal in the 15th minute assisted by Maggie Herrity.
UW-Stout's Emily Stanke tied the match with an unassisted goal at 33:49.
Luther (1-1) will host St. Olaf College (0-1) on Wednesday, Sept. 5 at 5:00 p.m. This match will be video streamed. St. Olaf's loss was to UW-Stout 1-0 on Aug. 31.
