Luther placed four runners in the top-15 but finished second behind Wartburg College today at the Iowa Conference Championships. Coe College hosted the league finale at Noelridge Park, Cedar Rapids.

Wartburg had its top five runners finished in the top-nine en route 21 points. Luther tallied 38, followed by Loras College with 87.

Earning all-conference for the Norse by finishing in the top-15 was Tricia Serres, Christina Storlie, Maggie Pierson, Jayne Cole and Lauren Stokke.

Serres placed third overall clocked at 21:45.2 on the 6K course. Storlie (22:46.8), Pierson (22:59.0) and Cole (23:00.5) finished 6th, 7th and 8th respectively, while Stokke was 14th (23:19.3).

Storlie became only the seventh runner in Luther history to earn all-conference honors for a third time. Pierson is now a two-time all-conference performer, while Serres, Cole and Stokke are all first time all-conference honorees.

Lauren Mordini (16th - 23:32.4) and Lisa Wegman (19th - 23:47.3) completed Luther's top-seven performers.
