Women's Cross Country - UW-Eau Claire Invitational

Luther posted a team total of 131 points and finished fifth of 17 teams at the UW-Eau Claire Invitational held today in Colfax, Wis.

University of Minnesota won the team title with 34 points. The Gophers were followed by host Eau Claire with 60 points, Carleton College with 90 points and Winona State University with 100 points.

Luther's top five runners and how they finished were Maggie Pierson (21st - 22:56), Tricia Serres (22nd - 22:56), Christina Storlie (23rd - 22:58), Annie Klepper (30th - 23:09), and Jayne Cole (35th - 23:15).

Rounding out the top seven were Lisa Wegman (44th - 23:38) and Lauren Stokke (52nd - 23:56).

The Norse will be off until Oct. 6, when they will travel to St. Paul, Minn., for the St. Kate's Invitational.
