Third year with the Norse…academic all-conference honoree (3.50 GPA or higher)…earned all-conference honors as a member of the Norse track team in the 4 x 800 relay outdoors thanks to a second place finish…three-year letter winner and team captain in cross country while at Van Meter High...earned all-conference honors in 2010...participated at the Senior All-Star Cross Country meet...also lettered four times in track and field...two-time state qualifier in the 800 meter run...holds the school record in this event...also qualified in the distance medley in 2009...member of the Dance Team, basketball, and volleyball teams…salutatorian...National Honor Society member...daughter of Joel and Christina Powers.
