The Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) has announced that Taylor Johnson has been named the IIAC Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Dec. 23. 

Johnson, a junior forward, averaged 25 points and 15 rebounds as Luther improved to 8-3 overall with a pair of wins at the Oglethorpe Holiday Invitational in Atlanta. Johnson posted a 30-point, 20-rebound double-double in a 78-74 win over Howard Payne on Dec. 20, then came back with a 20-point, 10-board double-double against Anderson (Ind.) on Dec. 21. They were the 16th and 17th double-doubles of her career. During the week, she shot 17-of-36 from the field and was 16-of-18 at the charity stripe. Against Anderson, she also had four blocked shots.

This is the second time she has been so honored by the IIAC.
