A four-time all-conference honoree, an all-district performer, and a member of Decorah's 2007 state championship cross country team, Christina was not really planning on running in college.

"A few months before the season started, I decided that I should give cross country a chance--at least for one year. I had no intention of running track, but after enjoying cross country so much, I wanted to run track as well."

"The people are really what make Luther so incredible. I feel so lucky to be part of the cross country team. I've found so much more than just a new group of encouraging teammates; I've found deep friendships--not to mention a crazy amount of fun and adventure."

"I love everything about fall, the crisp weather, the crunch of leaves, and the spectacular colors. Cross country is perfect because I get to enjoy the outdoors every day while running. There are some beautiful trails around Decorah; we're really lucky to have such great places to train."
