As a high school senior, Taylor led the Mississippi Valley Conference in scoring en route to all-conference and all-area honors.

She led the Norse in scoring and rebounding during the 2011-12 campaign and was a second team all-Iowa Conference selection.

"I decided to attend Luther because the students and profs are very nice, plus it has a beautiful campus. I also knew Luther had a strong women's basketball program. My teammates are the nicest ladies you'll ever meet, and they know when to have fun and when it's time to buckle down. Coach Nechuta helped make my transition from high school to college much easier."

"My father has been the biggest influence on my athletic career. He was able to play at the highest level, and he knows what it takes to become the best."

A nursing major, she plans on becoming an emergency room nurse.
